Inspectors work in parks, plants, rooftops, and rural sites where coverage is a rumor. A field inspection app has to treat offline as the default: full forms, photos, and signatures captured on the device, queued locally, and synced when a connection shows up.
Inspection work answers to standards — ACCT for challenge courses, OSHA-adjacent safety checks, internal audit trails. The app should know which fields are required, which intervals are due, and produce a report an auditor accepts without anyone re-typing anything.
When the device reconnects, records sync to the office automatically — branded PDFs, dashboards, and archives stay current. Sync has to be conflict-safe: the same inspection opened on two devices can't overwrite itself.
Form tools assume a desk and a connection. Field software assumes gloves, glare, and one free hand. Big tap targets, fast photo capture, and a report that's finished when the inspector walks off the site.
