TERMS
Terms of Service
Last updated: October 11, 2026
The short version
- Use the site honestly and don't try to break it.
- For client projects, your signed proposal sets the scope and price. Once it's paid for, you own what we built for you.
- Digital products are for use in your own business. Don't resell or share them.
- Not happy with a digital product? Ask for a refund within 30 days and keep the files.
1. About these terms
These Terms of Service are an agreement between you and My AI Summit ("we," "us," "our"), a software studio based in Texas. They apply when you use myaisummit.dev, contact or book a call with us, work with us on a project, consulting, or training, or buy one of our digital products. By doing any of those things, you agree to these terms. If you're agreeing on behalf of a business, you confirm you're allowed to do so.
Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information.
2. Using this website
You may use the site to learn about us and get in touch. Please don't:
- send spam, malicious code, or false information through our forms;
- try to break, overload, or get unauthorized access to the site or our systems;
- copy large parts of the site or use automated tools to scrape it;
- use the site for anything unlawful.
The information on this site is general. It is not legal, financial, or other professional advice. That includes what we say about accessibility law and AI, so talk to a qualified professional about your own situation. Product descriptions and screenshots show our work as it was when we added it and may change.
3. Calls, quotes, and proposals
Introductory calls are free and don't commit either of us to anything. A quote or proposal becomes binding only when both of us accept it in writing, which can be by email. Unless it says otherwise, a quote is valid for 30 days.
4. Client projects
These terms apply to custom websites, apps, chatbots, automations, accessibility work, and other projects we do for you. Your signed proposal or statement of work (the "proposal") sets the specifics. If the proposal and these terms disagree, the proposal wins.
Scope and changes
Our fixed quote covers the work described in the proposal. If you want something outside that scope, we'll tell you the cost and timing before doing it, and we only go ahead once you agree.
Payment
You agree to pay the amounts and follow the schedule in the proposal. If a payment is more than 15 days late, we may pause work until it's paid, and the timeline moves accordingly.
Your part
Projects go well when we get content, access, and feedback on time. You're responsible for providing these, and for making sure you have the right to use anything you give us (text, images, logos, data). Delays on your side may move delivery dates.
Who owns the work
- Once you've paid in full, you own the custom code, designs, and content we create specifically for your project, along with your domain, accounts, and data.
- We keep ownership of tools, code libraries, templates, and know-how we had before your project or build for general use. You get a permanent, royalty-free licence to use them as part of what we delivered.
- Open-source and third-party components stay under their own licences.
- We may show the finished work in our portfolio and on this site. If you'd rather we didn't, just tell us.
Third-party services
Many projects rely on outside services such as hosting, payment processors, AI model providers, email, and app stores. Their terms and fees apply, and ongoing subscription costs are yours unless the proposal says otherwise. We aren't responsible for outages, price changes, or policy changes by those providers, but we'll help you deal with them.
AI features
AI tools can produce answers that are wrong, incomplete, or out of date. We design chatbots and AI features with reasonable safeguards, such as limits on topics and handing off to a person, but you're responsible for reviewing what they say and for how you use them with your customers.
Accessibility and compliance work
When we do accessibility or privacy work, we build to the standard named in the proposal (usually WCAG 2.1 AA). Websites change and the law changes, so we can't guarantee you'll never receive a complaint, demand letter, or lawsuit, and our work is not legal advice.
Confidentiality and your data
We keep your non-public business information confidential and use it only to do the work. If we handle your customers' personal information, we do so only on your instructions and only to deliver the project.
Support after launch
Support after launch is covered by a monthly support plan or by fixes billed as needed, as set out in the proposal.
Ending a project
Either of us may end a project with written notice. You pay for work done up to that point, and once that's paid we hand over everything completed so far.
5. Consulting and training
Price, length, format, and scheduling for consulting calls, workshops, and advisory plans are set when you book or in your proposal. If we record a session, the recording is for your own internal use. Our advice is our honest professional opinion. You decide what to do with it, and you remain responsible for your business decisions.
6. Digital products
These terms apply to the guides, kits, prompt packs, templates, courses, and other digital products we sell, such as the GEO Visibility Kit and AI Operator Kit, including upgrades and add-ons bought at checkout.
Buying and access
Checkout runs on Pinball, and Stripe processes payments. Prices are in US dollars and include any applicable taxes shown at checkout. You get access by email or through a members' area right after purchase. Launch or beta prices can change, but you pay the price shown when you buy.
What you can do with them
When you buy a product, we give you a personal, non-transferable licence to use it in your own work or your own business. You may edit the templates and prompts and use what you create with them. You may not resell, share, or give away the product or your login, post it publicly, or repackage it as your own product. We keep all rights to the products themselves.
30-day "keep everything" refund guarantee
If a digital product isn't right for you, email hello@myaisummit.dev within 30 days of buying it and we'll refund what you paid for that product. You don't need to give a reason, and you can keep the files. Each product and add-on is covered separately. We may decline refunds in cases of clear abuse, such as repeatedly buying and refunding. This doesn't limit any refund rights the law gives you.
No guaranteed results
Our products teach methods that have worked for us and others, but results depend on your business and effort. We don't promise any particular result, such as income, search or AI rankings, or time saved.
7. Our content
The text, design, graphics, and code of this site and our products belong to My AI Summit or our licensors. Apart from what these terms allow, please don't copy or reuse them without permission. Product names and logos of other companies belong to their owners.
8. Links to other sites
This site links to our live products, booking tools, and other websites we don't control. Those sites have their own terms and privacy policies.
9. Disclaimers
Except where these terms or a proposal say otherwise, the site, our digital products, and our general information are provided "as is." To the extent the law allows, we disclaim implied warranties such as merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We work hard to keep things accurate and running, but we can't promise the site will always be available or error-free.
10. Limits on our liability
To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for lost profits, revenue, or data. Our total liability for any claim relating to these terms, the site, or our work is limited to the amount you paid us for the product or project involved in the 12 months before the claim, or $100 if you haven't paid us anything. Some places don't allow these limits, so they may not all apply to you.
11. Your responsibility to us
If someone makes a claim against us because of content or materials you gave us, or because you misused the site or our products, you agree to cover our reasonable costs of dealing with it.
12. Disputes and governing law
If something goes wrong, email us first. Most problems can be solved with a conversation, and we'll try in good faith for 30 days before either of us goes further. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, and any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Texas.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time and will change the date at the top when we do. The version in effect when you buy something or sign a proposal applies to that purchase or project.
14. The rest of the fine print
If any part of these terms can't be enforced, the rest still applies. If we don't enforce a term right away, we haven't given up the right to enforce it later. These terms, together with any proposal you sign, are the whole agreement between us on these topics.
